Argolis (9 hours) Greeting you at your hotel or  cruise arrival terminal you will start your journey southwest to the countryside of Greece driving at the coastal highway. You will access the peninsula by crossing the awe-inspiring Corinth Canal, a unique infrastructure that changed trade and transportation in the mediterranean sea. You will realize the enormity of the achievement as you will have the opportunity to photograph it (includes a stop).
2
After a short drive, we reach the ancient city of Corinth. In ancient times, Corinth was amongst the richest cities because its very geostrategic position between two big harbors and this is quite clear by its remains, including the huge Roman Agora (marketplace) and Apollo’s Temple, (6th century BC).
3
After that visit you  start driving to Mycenae (a UNESCO World Heritage site), the fortified palace of King Agamemnon, leader of the Trojan War. The mighty citadel is surrounded by huge Cyclopean Walls. Entrance to its Acropolis is through the famous Lions Gate, which symbolize the power of the kings of Mycenae. Beyond the Lion Gate is the stairway leading to the Palace complex. Outside the walls are the beehive tombs, the largest of which is the so-called “Treasury of Atreus”.
4
Next stop is Nafplio, the first capital of Greece after the 1821 Greek revolution. Here, you will have the opportunity to visit the medieval castle of Palamidi, or explore the old city of Nafplion, Acronafplia and have a traditional Greek lunch. After your visit, you will begin your drive back to Athens.
5
Extended Argolis (12h) You can include the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus the most well preserved theater in Greece (UNESCO World Heritage). Its acoustics are still almost perfect today. This is a 12 hours tour program with an approximately one hour stop to visit the theater. Epidaurus was the  birthplace of Asclepius, patron god of medicine and worship as a god that’s why we find here a temple dedicated to him. Psychotherapy, hydrotherapy and brain surgery were some of the treatments performed here.
